The Domus Pacis’ Family Respite Integrated Marketing and Communications Coordinator (IMCC) is responsible for the support of the communicating the impact and unique execution facets of family respite stays – estimated to be approximately 150 families during 2018 and projected to grow (depending on funding resources) to 200 stays annually within three years. The ideal candidate is a professional, sensitive to the critical situation of each family Domus Pacis serves, as well as the varying donor-established procedures that need to be honored when connecting with businesses and volunteers as well as monetary supporters. The organization is experiencing growth in demand, which requires the need for a proven team player with solution-oriented focus and passion for mission, process, and productivity. The candidate must be hard-wired as proactive, disciplined and a strong communicator.
The Integrated Marketing and Communications Coordinator reports directly to the Executive Director. The IMCC proposes, launches and supports organizational outreach, including designing and implementing strategic communications plans, developing and executing DPFR’s digital content strategy across multiple channels, including website, social media, and e-marketing, with the goals of growing audiences, deepening engagement and building awareness of the organization’s strategy and impact.
Develop, manage and execute a comprehensive, cohesive strategy for DPFR digital communications channels, providing graphic design and collateral development supports, and executing online funding initiatives.
Manage editorial calendar for the web, social media, and appeal campaigns.
Manage and maintain the DPFR website. Capture metrics to inform strategy and track progress. Routinely identify, recommend, and implement improvements.
Implement online fundraising, engagement, and stewardship campaigns; leverage online channels to enhance offline direct mail and event fundraising.
Develop and manage the creation, quality, and storage of written, graphic, image and video content for use across all platforms.
Strategize, execute, manage and grow DPFR’s primary social media accounts: Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube. Develop plans to expand to other platforms, when necessary. Capture metrics to inform strategy and track progress.
Draft, publish and manage social media posts, monitor conversations and produce multimedia content.
Monitor, track and report potential issues arising on social channels that impact DPFR, beneficiaries or its supporters.
Help measure and report on social media performance, and provide recommendations for optimizing channel performance.
Assist in running paid social campaigns promoting editorial content and fundraising materials.
Plan and schedule social media content aligned with integrated campaigns and news announcements.
Ensure compliance with all relevant online regulations and laws; adhere to the highest standards of accountability to donors and ethical principles and standards for fundraising.
Develop and train staff on social media best practices.
Provide support for team-wide multimedia needs, such as photo and video shoots for social media purposes.
Backup DPFR Executive Director, program management staff and Board
Participate in event planning and execution
Assist with Appeals
Participate in outreach and networking opportunities such as chamber meetings, Domus Pacis fundraising events, and supporter gatherings
Greet arriving families on some weekends
Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills; demonstrated ability to create and deliver clear and persuasive communications for varying audiences.
Experience distilling information into compelling stories.
Strong knowledge of and experiencing managing organizational websites, social media platforms, and e-marketing campaigns.
Proven success growing and engaging digital audiences, developing timely and engaging content, and tracking and analyzing social and digital analytics.
Familiar with online and offline marketing principles and earned and social media’s function within a mix of paid, earned, shared and owned channels for optimal impact and audience engagement.
Understanding of pro/cons of online giving options (PayPal, Facebook, Colorado Gives, Chargent, Donorbox, Acceptiva, etc.).
Experience using social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.) and associated tools and programs (Hootsuite, etc.) for professional and/or marketing purposes.
Solid understanding of website development using Drupal.
Experience with tools and software such as MS Office Suite, Google (G-Suite), products that integrate with Salesforce’s CRM (EmailStudio, MailChimp, Constant Contact, etc.), Adobe Suite products.
Comfort in graphic design with a knowledge of Adobe Suite products, including Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
Proficiency with photo/video production using such tools as Animoto.
Analytical approach and good problem-solving skills, coupled with creativity.
Proven record of working well on a team and independently.
Strong time-management skills, including the ability to manage both ongoing responsibilities and multiple short- and long-term projects.
Supports the stewardship of the organization’s brands and helps increase their visibility among partners, peers, the community, and media.
