Full-Time Environmental Services Technician (Housekeeping)
Position Summary: Creates a sanitary, safe environment and enhances the appearance of the facility.
Minimum Required Education: High School diploma or GED.
Skills and Abilities: Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, and take appropriate action. Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
Duties and Responsibilities: Cleans patient rooms and other assigned areas daily, including collecting and removing trash, changing bed linens and sanitizing all surfaces.
Follows policies and procedures on patient isolation. Stocks paper items and other supplies in patient rooms as necessary or designated.
Maintains cart and equipment in clean, working condition and stores in appropriate storage area when finished with shift.
Performs linen pick-up, presorting, and loading and unloading of machines as necessary.
