Job Description

Serve with Americorps as a Construction Crew Leader for Habitat For Humanity Vail Valley. The 10.5 month Americorps program places young adults into intensive service positions where they learn valuable work skills, earn money for education and develop an appreciation for citizenship.

As a Construction Crew Leader with Habitat For Humanity Vail Valley you will:
– Lead volunteers and partner families in the construction of simple, decent and affordable homes in our community
– Learn leadership, work and life skills that translate directly into job experience
– Gain the satisfaction of making a difference in your community and country
– Learn teamwork, communication, problem solving and other essential skills

We are looking for members who:
– Possess a sincere desire to serve others and are dedicated to Habitat’s Mission
– Enjoy people and have a passion for volunteerism and teaching/group facilitation
– Have strong team building skills and are comfortable leading/or being part of a team
